As this is an Advanced Class a certain level of advanced development is expected of each actor and therefore entry into the course is based on an audition or by invitation only. Actors will be expected to more intensely open themselves to the external world and their internal emotions building on and perfecting their own personal process. This is achieved through advanced scene study for the working professional with an emphasis on in-depth script breakdown and character development. Through the discovery of their acting process unique to each actor, they will better understand their individual journey and learn to live truthfully and fully in each moment.

Similarly to our Beginning Acting for Kids, each class is devoted to helping the student develop the techniques
and tools of the professional actor. Special emphasis will be placed on training the actor to respond quickly and

helping the actor cultivate a process that is uniquely their own. This course in intended for more mature,
younger students who are ready to truly begin developing their craft.

Master Class in Acting for Teens and Young Adults: Character Study Intensive

This Master Class Workshop is an extremely advanced project based workshop. Each actor will be selecting a full film script which will serve as the basis for the entire session’s work. All scene work and casting will be done from within the workshop with a strong emphasis on a complete character development process. This workshop has been developed for the committed career oriented young actor. We will be building on the all the techniques developed in previous workshops with a large focus on the following:

Highly advanced workshop puts extreme focus on character development, making strong and unique individual choices, and script interpretation to better discover distinctive character attributes to better make the role your own. Scene selections for this workshop will cover adult themes, thus it will be exclusively offered to students who are 18 or older and entry is based solely on audition or invitation.

Everyone will learn to mine the unexpected with a better understanding of the creative process through the development of story-telling skills, character study, discovering objectives and obstacles, exploring human behavior and so much more.

Advanced Sense Memory Intensive: Living Truthfully in Imaginary Circumstances

We begin with the individual; with his or her body, background and senses.
The actor learns to respond quickly and fully to all stimuli in an effort to create reality and spontaneity in their acting. Ones’ senses hold the key to life and experience. Sense memory exercises assist the actor to utilize all five senses and to respond fully and vividly to imaginary objects as one is capable of doing with real objects in daily life. We will seduce the senses. Little by little they will come alive as we explore objects through all five senses; smell, sound, touch, taste and sight. These exercises test concentration and response, and serve as a foundation for the actor’s work. When we use our imagination to unlock the doors to all the senses, we become alive, vivid, and true. You will then have the belief, the faith, and the imagination to create the living reality that is demanded of every performer. This Special Workshop will explore this ‘Process of Journey’ through Sense Memory and then the application of Sense Memory to the script.​

Auditioning can be intimidating and overwhelming. Whether just learning to audition or looking to make improvements to one's auditioning technique, this audition intensive is the answer! We will give you the tools and skills needed to be ready to deal with any audition situation, whether it is a cold reading, a prepared monologue or anything in between or beyond. Each step of the audition process will be covered in these workshops from the preparation to walking into the room and the performance. We simplify and demystify this process for the actor so they learn to walk into every audition with a sense of confidence and ease. Every session will include the actors working in front of the camera and putting auditions on tape. Join us and learn the secrets to a confident audition.
